Yes! The face that you see on TV talking about products and services for over 50s is our own Baby Boomer ‘Legend’ himself.

When asked to face the cameras for the ads seen on the Nine Network, Seven Network, Ten Network, SBS and Foxtel, his script about ‘Bucket Lists’ and insurance provided by A.S.I.A. called for him to advocate living life to the full.

Anyone whose been to a Baby Boomers ‘Blast From The Past’ would ask the same thing…

So where does the ‘acting’ come into the picture?

Whether it’s a surprise trip to the Hunter for a special lunch, sight seeing flight or getting to the airport in 20 minutes for a worry free schedule – you’ll be surprised at how affordable Jason and the guys at Coast Helicopters are for a luxury trip.

Imagine…

You tell him you’re going to meet a couple of friends for a drink at the local to celebrate… You’re in the beer garden and a helicopter lands in the carpark. Naturally, you’re attention is captured.

The pilot steps out and then walks toward you.

Hubby is scratching his head.

‘Come with me.’ The pilot escorts you and hubby, plus a couple of friends if you wish, to the helicopter.

In a moment you are up in the air and hubby is not sure if he’s James Bond, been mistaken for Brad Pitt (nah! like that would happen) or being kidnapped.

You fly to your destination… A fancy restaurant, riverside marquee, your choice – to be met by the crowd of friends you’ve already invited, and hopefully us to entertain, ready and waiting to make this the biggest day of his life.

You know what that means?

He’ll never stop enjoying it, bragging about it, and there’s not a pair of shoes he can ever refuse you again!

Of course, you males can do the whole experience for your ladies… And you know what that means?

That’s right. You can have a drink because you’re not driving!

Dalai Lama Concert Perth

Our ‘leading man’ spent 3 hours in makeup to double as Mikhail Gorbachev, former leader of the USSR now reborn as guitarist for the ‘Nobel Funk Off’ Peace Band!

Unable to resist the urge, our Baby Boomer tried out his best Russian and judging by the reaction from the Dalai, the joke hit the funny bone. (Yes, that’s the real Dalai in this pic.)

The band is a crazy collection of singers, musicians and actors; who all look like Nobel Laureates or similar peace advocates. There’s even a second ‘Dalai’ on bass.

Each has a character, background and a sense of humour. The real Dalai got a real kick out of the lineup.

With a series of successful videos passing 10 million hits on You Tube, the band entertained the crowd at Perth Superdome then met the Dalai Lama backstage.

The spiritual leader signed our Baby Boomer’s guitar, which he proudly plays in the show. As one Baby Boomer quipped, “Now you have a blessing they can’t call it the ‘devil’s music’ anymore!”
